Remote access

If you are on the university premises (i.e., within the range of IP addresses of UWB), there is no need to log in. If you are elsewhere, you need to use remote access. For most platforms, access via Shibboleth is enabled, i.e., you get to the Orion WebAuth page, where you log in the same way as to the UWB systems. You can use the links provided here or log in from the main site of the respective platform following the instructions.

Off-line use

EBSCO and ProQuest allow you to borrow books for offline reading. To do this, you need to have an Adobe Digital account on the Ebsco platform and have the Adobe Digital Editions book reading app installed on your device, and the Ebook Central Reader App for the ProQuest platform. You can only access the material on the device you downloaded the e-book to. Only use this option when necessary, as this will block the title from being available to others.
