Conditions for including proceedings in Scopus

Inclusion of the proceedings in Scopus

The criteria for the inclusion of proceedings in Scopus are the same as the criteria for a journal. Proposed proceedings must also be "periodical publications", i.e., they must be published at least once a year under one title and have an ISSN number. For example, it may be a series of proceedings published annually. The form of publication is not decisive; they can be published in print or online. In addition, each individual proceedings may have its own title and ISBN.

Elsevier has the following note on the Czech website:

A project to extend the acceptance of conference proceedings into Scopus is currently underway, especially in the field of engineering sciences. The selection is based on verified lists of reputable conference proceedings. Unfortunately, proceedings from individual conferences cannot be proposed. However, it is possible to suggest serial proceedings (i.e., those with a registered ISSN).
